UTMB Chianti weekend

There’s been a lot of talk lately around the new Kiprun Summit trail shoes. Decathlon’s trail lineup is getting more attention, and the Summit model is starting to show up more in elite fields. That timing is interesting, because UTMB Chianti kicks off tonight. Thomas Cardin — one of Kiprun’s key athletes — comes in as the top-ranked runner in the 120k field. It’s still early days for the shoe, but a strong performance here would put even more focus on Kiprun as a serious player in trail running. Worth keeping an eye on.
