Francesco Puppi and Martyna Młynarczyk Win Les Templiers 2026

Francesco Puppi returned to the Grand Trail des Templiers and completed the job he came close to finishing three years ago, winning the 2026 race in 6:32:20.
The Italian covered the 80.7-kilometre course through the Grands Causses, featuring approximately 3,450 metres of climbing, seven minutes ahead of Dimitri Morel-Jean. Benjamin Roubiol completed the men’s podium.
Puppi had finished second behind Jonathan Albon on his previous appearance in 2023. This time, he remained among the leading group throughout the race before making the decisive move on the approach to Le Cade, with just over seven kilometres remaining.
He reached the checkpoint in first place and continued to extend his advantage across the final climb and descent into Millau.
The victory comes at the end of another strong season for Puppi. He won the Chianti Marathon Trail in March, finished second at Western States in June and placed seventh at OCC before returning to France for his final major trail race of the year.
Młynarczyk Wins a Close Women’s Race
Martyna Młynarczyk claimed the women’s title in 7:41:18, finishing five minutes ahead of Alexandra Cassan-Ferrier.
Audrey Tanguy followed in third, only 9:47 behind the winner, while Anna-Stiina Erkkilä finished fourth. Młynarczyk’s victory ended Caitlin Fielder’s run of two consecutive wins at the race.
