UTMB Chianti 120K results: Thomas Cardin won the men’s race ahead of Andreas Reiterer and Vincent Bouillard.
In the women’s race, Courtney Dauwalter made a late comeback to win ahead of Yngvild Kaspersen and Rachel Entrekin.


UTMB Chianti 120K delivered a stacked race on both sides — with expected performances and a few key storylines shaping the day.

In the men’s race, Thomas Cardin lived up to his pre-race billing and took the win, confirming his position as one of the top names over the distance. Andreas Reiterer followed in second, continuing his strong record on home terrain, while Vincent Bouillard completed the podium.

Behind them, Tobias Geiser in fourth and Jeff Mogavero in sixth both added solid results in a deep field.

On the women’s side, the race took a different turn. Courtney Dauwalter, who wasn’t originally expected to start, made a late decision to race following the cancellation of UTMB Tenerife due to storm Theresa — and turned it into a comeback win after moving through the field late.

Yngvild Kaspersen led for much of the race and finished second, while Rachel Entrekin secured third.

The result adds another strong performance to Dauwalter’s record, but also highlights how competitive the women’s field has become — with Kaspersen showing she can control a race at this level.

With Western States Golden Tickets on the line, Chianti once again proves to be one of the key early-season races shaping the international trail running calendar.
