Pas Normal Studios and Salomon are continuing their increasingly natural crossover between cycling, running and outdoor culture. Their sixth collaboration arrives on November 5 with a compact three-piece collection built for cold, wet miles across asphalt, gravel and everything in between.
The FW26 capsule is aimed particularly at cyclists who turn towards running as the temperature drops. Instead of treating the winter run as an entirely separate discipline, the collection presents it as another form of movement—one that begins on the road but does not necessarily stay there.
A waterproof gravel runner at the centre
The Aero Blaze 4 GRVL Gore-Tex is the centrepiece of the release. Salomon positions it as a versatile mixed-surface shoe rather than a technical trail model, combining the smoother feel of a road shoe with enough grip and protection for gravel tracks, urban parks and wet winter routes.
The shoe uses a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, Gravel Contagrip outsole and 2.5-millimetre lugs. OptiFOAM² cushioning provides the softer underfoot feel, while Quicklace replaces conventional laces.
At a listed 239 grams, with an eight-millimetre drop and a 35-millimetre heel stack, the Aero Blaze remains closer to a daily trainer than a rugged trail shoe. That balance is arguably what makes it interesting: it is designed for runners who do not want to choose their surface before leaving home.
Carrying essentials without looking over-equipped
The shoe is accompanied by the GRVL Concept Skin 2 running vest and a collaborative version of Salomon’s S/LAB Belt.
The vest brings Salomon’s established close-fitting hydration design into the Pas Normal Studios visual world, providing space for water and essentials without the bulk of a traditional pack. The belt offers the more minimal alternative for shorter runs, carrying a phone, keys, nutrition or a lightweight layer close to the body.
Together, the three products form a practical winter system rather than a large lifestyle collection assembled around a single headline piece.
Technical equipment in quieter colours
The restrained styling is just as important as the specifications. Light brown, peat, black and muted burgundy replace the brighter colours commonly associated with performance running.
Branding is present but controlled, allowing the pieces to sit comfortably alongside everyday technical clothing. It is a distinctly Pas Normal Studios interpretation of running equipment: functional enough for difficult weather, but designed with equal attention to silhouette, texture and colour.
This is not equipment for highly technical mountain terrain. It is a collection for the less clearly defined space between road running and trail—the wet cycle path, the gravel detour and the dark winter loop that combines several surfaces.
The Pas Normal Studios x Salomon FW26 collection launches on November 5 through both brands, Pas Normal Studios flagship stores and selected retailers. Norwegian prices are listed at NOK 1,900 for the Aero Blaze 4 GRVL GTX, NOK 2,000 for the GRVL Concept Skin 2 and NOK 700 for the S/LAB Belt.
