Garmin’s latest endurance watch pairs a titanium bezel and an olive-drab fabric strap with a familiar promise: enough battery life to keep going long after your legs want to stop.
Launched on October 6, the Enduro 4 updates Garmin’s solar-powered adventure watch with faster mapping, new training metrics and a more comfortable strap. Its 51mm case and 1.4-inch MIP display give it a substantial presence on the wrist, while the muted colour palette suits its outdoor brief.
The new ComfortFit Fabric Band is designed for extended wear, combining moisture management with Garmin’s QuickFit attachment system. A Power Sapphire solar lens, titanium bezel and integrated LED flashlight complete a package intended for long races and days away from a charger.
More useful on the climbs
For trail runners, the most interesting additions are the tools that account for terrain. Enduro 4 introduces grade-adjusted pace targets and rolling pace, helping runners interpret their effort when a steep climb makes ordinary pace figures less useful.
Updated Stamina metrics add another view of endurance, while the revised mapping system promises smoother navigation. Garmin Epic also lets users group activities into a single adventure spanning multiple days — a useful addition for stage races and longer trips.
Battery life remains the headline
Garmin claims up to 320 hours in its extended-battery activity mode and up to 90 days in smartwatch mode, with solar charging. Those figures depend on specific settings and substantial sunlight; they should not be read as everyday battery estimates with every feature running.
Still, the direction is clear. Enduro 4 puts long-duration tracking, navigation and practical outdoor features at the centre of its appeal.
The Garmin Enduro 4 is available in Norway with a recommended retail price of NOK 10,499.
